The connection does not work

| ConstruChain is missing from the ChatGPT or Claude directory | The connectors have not been published in the directories yet. Use the custom connection described in ChatGPT or Claude. |
| There is no option to add a connection | Check whether your plan and organization policies allow custom remote connectors. The integration pages link to each platform’s official documentation. |
| Authorization expired or was not completed | Start the connection again and complete sign-in and consent before returning to the platform. |
| The connection uses the wrong account | Check the account shown during ConstruChain authorization. Restart authorization and sign in with the account that can access the intended workspace or projects. |
| The connector is added but is not used in the conversation | Enable it for the conversation and explicitly ask to use ConstruChain Vision or ConstruChain Tracker. Start by requesting the list of authorized models or projects. |
| Authorization was revoked | Connect again and review the requested access. Results from previous conversations do not prove current access. |

Authentication takes place in ConstruChain with your own account. You do not need to copy API keys or secrets into a conversation.
A model or project is missing
Section titled “A model or project is missing”In Vision, check that you are in the correct workspace, your subscription or trial is active and the model has finished processing. An uploaded file must have available properties before it can be queried. Native IFC uploads depend on the feature being enabled for your workspace. See IFC models and Vision with MCP.
In Tracker, check that your account can access the project and that you selected it during this connection’s consent step. No project is authorized by default. A project available in the application can remain outside a connection that was not authorized to access it. See Tracker with MCP.
If access changed after you connected, review authorization. Do not send models or project data to support just to demonstrate that they exist.
A response is incomplete
Section titled “A response is incomplete”Ask the assistant to identify the model or project it queried, the dates and versions it used and any missing data.

| A BIM property is missing | Ask for the model schema and use a property name that actually exists. |
| A Tracker period or snapshot is unavailable | Ask for the available snapshots. Missing history must not be estimated. |
| A schedule comparison lacks the expected version | Ask for available published versions and explicitly choose the versions to compare. |
| A memory links to multiple versions | Ask for the verification context and clarify the versions you intend to compare. Do not treat a gap as a conclusion. |
| A Vision dashboard has no linked 3D view | Linked 3D views are available for Autodesk-processed models. Dashboards for other models, including native IFC, are standalone. |
Tracker queries data without changing progress or schedules. Vision dashboard publication must be explicitly requested. See the limits in Vision and Tracker.
What to send to support
Section titled “What to send to support”Include only the information needed to locate the issue:
- Product: Vision, Tracker or documentation site.
- Platform: ChatGPT or Claude, for connection issues.
- Date, approximate time and time zone.
- The step you attempted and the expected result.
- The error message, with private information removed.
If you send a screenshot, hide customer names and data, personal email addresses, private identifiers and the address bar when it contains an authorization link. Never send passwords, API keys, tokens, login codes or complete authorization links.
Privacy and authorization
Section titled “Privacy and authorization”Tool results are sent to the connected ChatGPT or Claude session. Check your organization’s rules before sharing project information. Revoking a connection prevents future access; it does not automatically erase responses already delivered to the platform.
