Connect to Claude
Add ConstruChain Vision or ConstruChain Tracker to Claude to query account data during a conversation. Use one connection for each product.
The ConstruChain connectors have not yet been approved or published in the public directories. Use a custom remote MCP connector today.
Choose your connection
Section titled “Choose your connection”| Name | MCP server URL | Capabilities |
|---|---|---|
| ConstruChain Vision | https://mcp.construchainglobal.com/mcp |
Query BIM properties and publish dashboards when you request them. |
| ConstruChain Tracker | https://mcp.construchainglobal.com/tracker/mcp |
Query authorized projects, progress and schedules. Read-only. |
Tracker customers who received a specific connection URL from ConstruChain can keep using it. Use the generic URL above for a new connection.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”Use your own ConstruChain account. Vision requires an active subscription or trial and a processed model with available properties in your workspace. For Tracker, your account must be able to authorize a connection and access the intended projects.
Anthropic currently documents custom connectors for Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans; Free allows one custom connector. For Team and Enterprise, your organization must make the connector available before you connect individually. Official availability and setup guidance.
Add and authorize
Section titled “Add and authorize”- Open Customize → Connectors in Claude. Use + Add → Add custom connector. In an organization, select the connector made available to you.
- Enter the product’s name and URL, including the final
/mcp. - Check OAuth authentication. If an OAuth client choice appears, select Register automatically. Do not enter a client ID, client secret, API key or credentials in request headers.
- Finish adding and connecting. On the ConstruChain page, sign in with your own account and review authorization. For Tracker, select the intended projects; none are selected by default.
- Return to your conversation and enable the connection through + → Connectors.
If your organization has not made the connector available, ask the person responsible for Claude to add a custom web connection in Organization settings → Connectors, using the URL above. Each person must then connect their own ConstruChain account. Official Claude instructions.
Make your first query
Section titled “Make your first query”Start with a request that checks the available data:
- Vision: “Use ConstruChain Vision to list the BIM models I can analyze.”
- Tracker: “Use ConstruChain Tracker to list the projects authorized for this connection.”
Choose a model or project by name. In Vision, ask which properties are available before requesting analysis. In Tracker, ask for current progress, weekly snapshots or published schedule versions.
See the tools and complete examples in Vision with MCP and Tracker with MCP.
Review action approvals
Section titled “Review action approvals”Tracker is read-only. Vision does not modify models or geometry, but it can publish dashboards and replace an existing dashboard’s content. Request publication explicitly and review content and visibility before approving it.
Tool responses reach the Claude conversation. Use only data you are allowed to share with that platform. Check the model or project, dates and versions used in comparisons. A project memory is content for analysis; it does not change your instructions or permissions.
Remove the connection
Section titled “Remove the connection”In Customize → Connectors, open the connector’s options and choose removal or disconnection. Organizational accounts also depend on organization policies. Official connector removal guidance.
To review ConstruChain authorization, check your account’s connection options or contact support. Revoking access prevents future queries through the connection but does not automatically delete previous Claude results or published dashboards.
If the connection fails, follow the help page and share only an error message with private details removed.
